Which Fund, Which Stock? (the "app") is published by Christian Herrick LLC ("we"). Effective date: October 6, 2026.
The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your searches stay on your phone. The only information that leaves your phone is what is needed to process and remember in-app purchases.
The fund holdings database is stored on your device, and every search and screen you view runs against that local copy. We do not collect or receive what you search for or which funds and stocks you look at.
Purchases are made through Google Play. We never see your name, email address or payment details; Google handles payment under the Google Privacy Policy.
To check which purchases you own and restore them, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service that processes data on our behalf. When the app starts or you buy or restore, it sends RevenueCat:
This information is used only to grant and restore what you bought, to prevent fraud, and to keep purchase records. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
If you download a newer quarter of holdings data, the file comes from our download server. Like any web server, it may log your IP address and the time of the request; these logs are used only to run and secure the service.
The app is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide restores and meet tax and accounting rules. To ask us to delete the purchase data linked to your app user ID, email us at the address below. Uninstalling the app removes the database and the random app user ID from your phone.
The app shows information from public SEC Form N-PORT filings. It is not investment advice, and it is not affiliated with the SEC.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
